My mum and I are making a rag rug and for every one I do,
my mum has to do two  !
                                                                                                           and today I did 30
so my mum will have to do 60  !
So the rag rug should be done by this time NEXT year :(

so that will be one long trek through the Amazon rag forest !!

Learning new things at home !

Indigo. has just coming rushing into the room I was in to explain that "she could do new things now" She was holding the end of a pink balloon that had been blow up, it didn't have a knot in it so if she released her grip the air would have escaped. She was also beaming with delight.
I was a little puzzled for a minute then I realised  "oh, did you blow it up?" I said,
"yes " she replies as she skipped out the room, she really did skip out of the room, hehe :-)))))

Yet another thing she has learnt at home which she wouldn't have learn at the wonderful educational place called "school"

Rapunzal ! ! !

Book review by Indigo

Characters:

Rapunzal
The mean witch
Rapunzal's dad
Rapunzal's mum
The Prince

I thought this was a brilliant story.
It was about a girl named rapunzel who had long hair, and the mean witch stole her and the witch climbed up rapunzrl hair to the tower.  In the end rapunzel and the prince with their chrildren live hapley ever after.

Oh my word now T. and I. are discussing how Rapunzal got out the tower as there was NO door, also if the Mean Witch was that bad why did Rapunzal let her up to the tower ? ? ?

Our first attempt at Hena

So here is T. attempting to draw the Hena on herself, actually she did a fabulas job, I just needed to finish a little off for her as she couldn't twist her arm around.

This is the design I did on I's. hand it was my first ever attempt at Hena and am very pleased with it.

All this is after we talked about  diwali and I had rushed down to a shop to buy some Hena, we had a look online to see some Hena designs.

My heart map

This is my heart map and it has the names of the most annoying people in my life
one part of it says 'are you making a family tree can I be in it?' said by my eldest sister which we all found very funny because of course she would be in it .

I would like to add that my eldest daughter is indeed very funny, she is funny without really trying to be, I think she gets that from me. She has told us that she really like going to the tip, aparently it is because it is really cool because they sort things out, however the smell is not so cool.

Yesterday we had spaghetti, she almost had us all in stitches when she explained that she thought it reminded her of pancakes !!!! I am not to sure where that came from, Sometimes it's really best not to try to work her out. :-)

Growing

It reaches all the way up the stairs and back down again and its still growing !!:0

I have no idea what we are going to use this rope for, maybe it could be used as a scarf and taken out with us , just incase we need to rescue someone in the future !

And so it begins !

This is the first day of the wonderful creation.

We won't be writing everyday because some days are just so busy!

While I type this T is busy finger knitting a rope! Not sure what she plans to do with the small amount of rope but hey this is T for you...

T is now writing and will write in this colour from now on, and so you will know who is typing .

the rope is in case of an emergance so i can save peoples lives .... maybe.

Which reminds me of a conversation I had with I in the car today about walking on a lake/river that had frozen. She explained that even if the top part was frozen the bottom part may not be and we should never walk on it. We talked about how you may fall in and how your warm clothes would become heavy. We also talked about not jumping in to save anyone who had fallen in as the water would be so cold. The best thing to do would be to throw something in for them to hold. Which brings me back to the rope!!!

So the rope continuies to grow, it now reaches all the way down the stairs .....
